Business Overview:

The Mission Control team at BlackRock is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and administering production environments across BlackRock businesses. This includes maintaining and building critical ServiceNow modules, orchestrators, and data transfer services.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and support robust software applications with high-quality standards.
• Work with ServiceNow catalogs, workflows, forms, UI components, and business rules.
• Configure and customize user interfaces, workflows, reports, and integrations with third-party software.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to plan sprints effectively.
• Utilize tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, and Grafana for performance monitoring and root cause analysis.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow feature enhancements and apply best practices.
• Engage in clear communication with global teams and stakeholders.

Key Technical Skills:

ServiceNow ITSM, Python, Core Java (Spring Framework), Object-Oriented Design, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Agile Development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on ServiceNow ITSM implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Python or Core Java with knowledge of the Spring Framework.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and related tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Positive attitude, team collaboration skills, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
